the musty smell in the room was delightful, just kidding, it was horrible. also, there was no TV, how quaint, right? i was expecting a complimentary treat for all the inconvenience, but the staff clearly don’t understand customer satisfaction. i almost thought about leaving a good review, but, alas, i just couldn’t.

We had a canny time, like! The food was proper lush, especially the vegetarian options, can’t stop raving about it! Staff were dead friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely and chilled. Only downside was a bit pricey, but we’ll be back for sure!

Cozy and characterful accommodations with unique charm.
I've stayed in many hotels, but this one had a troubling musty smell in the King Room that made it uncomfortable. the lack of a TV in the room was unexpected, especially given the price. I also found the cleanliness in the dining area lacking, which did not reflect well on the establishment's overall upkeep.

A cozy stay with delightful meals
Our stay at The Bruce Arms was enhanced by exceptional hospitality, lively atmosphere, and the best breakfast we've had while traveling—rhubarb frangipane was a great surprise!
The hot water fluctuated during showers, which made our mornings a bit uncomfortable, but the friendly staff made up for it with their helpfulness.

Couples looking for a vibe! !
The food was just outstanding! ! Like I had the aged topside of beef—perfectly cooked, best since I moved here. The cozy sofa by the fire was the ideal spot for a late drink—totally unexpected but just what I needed to unwind.
Honestly, it wasn’t exactly cheap, but acceptable.

We had a blast! Played 18 holes of golf and then enjoyed a two-course meal. The staff were friendly and the wine selection was lovely. Breakfasts were great and definitely got us off to a good start each day.
The hot water fluctuated during showers, which was a bit annoying.

would stay here again and again.
The room was cozy and equipped with an electric kettle, a private bathroom, and a shower. The atmosphere was relaxed. Spa facilities were a great addition. Breakfast was above average, and dinner options were diverse. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a bonus for pet lovers.
